Check your finish first
These are exterior-care choices, rather than accessories fitted to a particular BYD model. For standard gloss-painted bodywork, choose products for the surface being cleaned and follow your own handbook. If your car has a ceramic coating, paint-protection film, wrap or matt finish, follow that finish supplier’s aftercare before choosing a shampoo. This page does not establish approval for every finish or treatment.
Shampoo: Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, 1 litre
A pH-neutral shampoo for routine hand washing. Autoglym says it leaves existing waxes and sealants intact. It is a washing product, not a ceramic coating or a repair for damaged paint. For an existing coating, check the installer’s shampoo recommendation first.

Washing: Autoglym Microfibre Noodle Wash Mitt
A reusable mitt with a soft microfibre noodle face for washing exterior bodywork with shampoo. Hand wash it separately before first use and after use, then air dry; Autoglym says not to machine wash or dry it. Keep a bodywork mitt separate from wheel-cleaning equipment.

Drying: Autoglym Ultra-Soft Drying Towel, 80 × 60 cm
A large twisted-loop microfibre towel for drying freshly washed exterior glass and bodywork. Wash it before first use. Autoglym specifies separate washing at up to 40°C without fabric softener.

Care note
Rinse loose dirt away before contact washing and keep the mitt and towel free of grit to avoid marking paint. Use only the mitt’s noodle face on paintwork: Autoglym explicitly says not to use its mesh on paint. Work on cool bodywork and do not let shampoo dry on the surface.
