Put the blades in position
- Park, select P and make sure automatic wiping is off.
- Free the blades from ice without running the motor against resistance.
- With the vehicle in the state specified by the handbook, open the current infotainment maintenance control for the wipers.
- Wait for both arms to stop before lifting them.
Prevent glass and paint damage
Do not open the bonnet with an arm raised. Support the arm throughout the work, do not bend it and never release it towards the glass without a fitted blade. Use only a blade that locks correctly onto the SEAL arm.
Reset and test
Lower the arms slowly, disable maintenance mode and confirm they return to the normal park position. Test the washer and wipers while stationary. An incorrect sweep, contact, looseness or failure to park needs professional inspection.
