Why does another source say 2.3.1?
BYD Austria publishes this bulletin as 2.3.0. BYD Denmark lists a September 2026 DOLPHIN release as 2.3.1, full version 13.1.32.2606100.1. Compare your car’s full identifier and notice when choosing a change list; the short labels alone do not prove the packages are identical.
Install when your car offers it
Matching released EU updates apply to the matching UK car, as confirmed by UK owners. Offers are staged by VIN, so another owner receiving it first does not mean yours has a fault.
- Park where the car can remain unused for the duration shown in its update prompt.
- Read the car’s notice and match the model, edition, trim and complete package.
- Meet the battery and connection requirements shown by the car.
- Start or schedule the update through the vehicle’s own screen. Safety note: leave installation running as instructed; interrupting it or using unofficial firmware can leave the software unusable.
- Wait for the completed-update message.
- Try the account, radio and navigation shortcuts fitted to your car. The normal controls should be available again after completion.
If the update fails
If installation reports a failure or a warning remains after completion, follow the displayed message and contact a BYD dealer or BYD Customer Service. Give them the full installed version and exact error, and ask them to check the failed package and the required recovery. If the update simply has not appeared, wait for the vehicle notification unless a function is missing or the car reports a fault.
