BYD ATTO 2 Active and Boost software update 2.3.0

ATTO 2 Active and Boost 2.3.0 brings arrival-charge estimates, charging-route planning and a floating navigation window. It also changes the DMS shortcut from opening settings to operating the main switch, so try that control while parked after updating.

Navigation

  • The map can show estimated battery charge on arrival.
  • Charging-route planning is enabled by default where the navigation service supports it.
  • A floating navigation window is added.

Arrival charge is an estimate that changes with the route, weather, traffic, speed and heating; use it to plan your charging stops.

DMS shortcut and screen changes

A tap now operates the DMS master switch. The shortcut is highlighted when on and grey when off; switching it off asks for confirmation. BYD also refines the interface and text prompts.

Which package?

Active and Boost use 13.1.33.2606100.1. Comfort has its own 2.3.0 package, 49.1.6.2605092.1, covered separately below.

Install when your car offers it

Matching released EU updates apply to the matching UK car, as confirmed by UK owners. Offers are staged by VIN, so another owner receiving it first does not mean yours has a fault.

  1. Park where the car can remain unused for the duration shown in its update prompt.
  2. Read the car’s notice and match the model, edition, trim and complete package.
  3. Meet the battery and connection requirements shown by the car.
  4. Start or schedule the update through the vehicle’s own screen. Safety note: leave installation running as instructed; interrupting it or using unofficial firmware can leave the software unusable.
  5. Wait for the completed-update message.
  6. Check arrival-charge information and the DMS shortcut state. The normal controls should be available again after completion.

If the update fails

If installation reports a failure or a warning remains after completion, follow the displayed message and contact a BYD dealer or BYD Customer Service. Give them the full installed version and exact error, and ask them to check the failed package and the required recovery. If the update simply has not appeared, wait for the vehicle notification unless a function is missing or the car reports a fault.
