OWNER ANSWER
BYD ATTO 2 CarPlay or Android Auto not connecting?
For ATTO 2 CarPlay or Android Auto problems, start with one unlocked phone and the connection method supported by your car. Check the data cable or wireless settings, then approve the projection prompts on both screens.

- Park and unlock the phone. Safety note: Set up while parked because screen changes distract from driving; keep factory resets and unofficial software out of this connection test, as they can remove settings or introduce unrelated problems.
- Choose the CarPlay or Android Auto connection method shown for your car.
- For wired use, connect a certified phone-projection USB cable to the vehicle’s USB data-transfer port.
- For supported wireless use, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Open the CarPlay or Android Auto application and accept the required prompts on both screens.
What the result tells you
Bluetooth calls and phone projection are separate connections. A phone that charges over USB may still have no data connection. Wireless phone charging is also separate from wireless projection.
If that did not work
Check phone permissions, provider compatibility and the application/software state. Compare another compatible phone if available. If the supported setup still fails, ask BYD to check projection availability for your exact build and the failed data or wireless path.
What to note down if you need support: phone model and operating-system version, full vehicle software version, wired or wireless method, exact message and which comparison worked. Keep an owner-confirmed workaround with its matching build conditions.
