01 · SMART-KEY BATTERY
This sequence addresses the smart-key battery, not a discharged vehicle 12V battery. Open the source illustration to locate the exact recognition area.
Have the smart-key battery replaced by a BYD authorised dealer or service provider as soon as possible. Nearby radio equipment can interfere with recognition.
02 · PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY
Contact a BYD authorised dealer, professional towing service or roadside-assistance organisation when the vehicle needs towing.
The handbook recommends a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. Lifting only the front or rear wheels may damage high-voltage components.
Do not arrange towing using ropes or chains alone. Read the full handbook section with the recovery operator, including securing, tow-eye conditions and any exceptions.
No generic jump-start sequence, collision reset or high-voltage instructions are provided here. Do not use another model’s procedure. If the key sequence fails, seek professional assistance rather than treating it as proof of a key-battery fault.
