Steering system fault warning light

What it means

A steady steering warning indicates a steering-system fault. Heavy steering after repeated stationary steering is discussed separately and does not override the warning-box response.

What to do

Follow the explicit warning box: park safely immediately and contact a BYD authorised dealer or service provider if the warning appears. Do not use the general inspection wording as reassurance to keep driving.
