High-voltage battery low SOC warning light

What it means

This is the low-charge warning for the traction battery, separate from a battery fault or overheating warning. At low charge, acceleration can decline and V2L becomes unavailable.

What to do

Charge promptly to maintain sufficient range and acceleration performance. Read the actual charge and range display; these pages do not establish a universal activation percentage for the symbol. The handbook recommends BYD inspection if state of charge changes abnormally. Do not dismiss a separate overheating or fault message as ordinary low charge.
