Handbook artwork for Reversing radar error warning
Colour: Orange

Reversing radar error warning

What it means

This amber parking-sensor symbol indicates a reversing-radar system failure. The handbook describes an accompanying instrument-cluster message and a beep when the system fails; the icon does not establish the cause.

What to do

Contact a BYD authorised dealer or service provider for inspection as soon as possible. Observe the surroundings directly and do not rely solely on the parking-sensor system. Do not dismiss the warning as dirt, weather or a temporary fault without checking the actual message and handbook.

Handbook-based owner explanation, not a verbatim quotation. Check the accompanying instrument-panel message.Meaning and response handbook-checkedBYD SEAL · RHD EN-250305BYD handbook · PDF p. 37, p. 142, p. 143
