What it means

A steady warning indicates excessive traction-battery temperature. This handbook gives a stronger response when the warning flashes.

What to do

Stop safely to let the vehicle cool when the warning is on. If it flashes, stop safely immediately and leave the vehicle as soon as possible, as this handbook directs. Do not confuse it with a low-charge or coolant-temperature indication.
