What it means

This normally goes out after the ignition-on self-check. Remaining on, returning afterwards or appearing steadily or intermittently while driving can indicate a traction-battery-system fault.

What to do

Arrange inspection by a BYD authorised dealer or service provider as soon as possible for the listed persistent or recurring conditions. This is not the amber low-charge reminder.
