High-voltage battery low SOC warning light

What it means

This indicates low state of charge in the high-voltage battery. Low charge can reduce acceleration and make V2L unavailable. It is separate from the battery-fault and overheating warnings.

What to do

Charge promptly to maintain sufficient range and acceleration performance. Check the actual charge and range display rather than assuming a universal percentage threshold for this warning. If the displayed charge increases or decreases abnormally, this handbook recommends BYD inspection. Do not use low-charge advice to dismiss a separate fault or overheating message.
