What it means

This indicates that electronic stability control has been switched off. It is separate from the ESC fault warning.

What to do

Stay alert and use a lower speed when turning sharply or avoiding sudden obstacles, as the handbook instructs. Refer to its ESC control procedure before changing the setting; do not assume stability-control protection is available while OFF is displayed.
