High-voltage battery fault warning light

What it means

The traction-battery fault warning normally clears after its startup check. A persistent ignition-on warning or a steady or intermittent warning during driving indicates a monitored battery-system fault.

What to do

Contact a BYD authorised dealer or service provider for inspection as soon as possible if it remains on or returns during driving. Read accompanying messages rather than diagnosing a particular component from the symbol alone.
