High-voltage battery low SOC warning light*
What it means
The low-SOC battery symbol identifies low traction-battery charge. This is separate from the battery fault and overheating warnings; the overview does not establish a universal percentage trigger.
What to do
Charge promptly when SOC is low, taking the remaining range into account. The battery chapter notes reduced acceleration at low charge and that V2L becomes unavailable. If displayed charge changes abnormally, contact a BYD authorised dealer or service provider for inspection. Do not use the low-charge explanation to dismiss a separate fault or overheating warning.
