Handbook artwork for ABS fault warning light
Colour: Orange

ABS fault warning light

What it means

The ABS light normally clears after its startup check. A persistent warning can indicate loss of anti-lock braking; simultaneous brake and ABS warnings with EPB released can indicate failed brake-force distribution.

What to do

Immediately park safely and contact BYD if ABS and the brake-system warning remain on together. Arrange authorised inspection as soon as possible for a missing self-check, persistent startup warning or warning during driving. Do not assume normal emergency-braking stability.
