Handbook artwork for Tyre pressure fault warning light
Colour: Orange

Tyre pressure fault warning light

What it means

This can indicate low tyre pressure, excessive tyre temperature, or a monitoring-system problem. Flashing followed by a steady light with No Signal or Please check TPMS is a different condition from a low-pressure reading.

What to do

Check the displayed tyre pressures and messages. For low pressure while driving, avoid sharp turns or emergency braking, reduce speed and stop as soon as possible. Check for leakage and restore the specified pressure; do not drive before departure with pressure outside the manufacturer's requirements. Stop and allow cooling for a high-temperature alarm. Contact BYD for a persistent monitoring fault; wheel replacement or rotation requires professional system rematching.
