Ohme charger offline with your BYD? Home Pro and ePod checks
If Ohme shows Offline, check the charger’s connection first. For Home Pro or ePod, Ohme’s published restart is to unplug from the car, switch off the dedicated charger supply for 15 minutes, then switch it back on.

- Compare My Charger in the app with the physical charger’s status.
- Unplug from the car before the restart. Safety note: Use only the clearly identified dedicated switch, with no covers opened. Damage, burning smells, unusual heat or repeated tripping need the installer rather than another restart, because there may be an electrical fault.
- If its dedicated switch is positively identified and there is no electrical fault, turn off that charger supply.
- Leave it off for 15 minutes, then turn it on.
- Allow reboot and any updates to finish.
- Check for Online with a green dot in My Charger.
What should the unit show?
Home Pro should leave its internet-connection messages. On ePod the rightmost LED blinks orange while connecting; the left bar section is solid green when online. Ohme Go is a portable-product exception: its connection problems go to Ohme support rather than this power-cycle routine.
Home Pro while offline
Plugging in starts an immediate Max Charge. Its local Stop pauses it; Delay Charge sets 30-minute increments followed by Done. Check Delayed until. This local Home Pro delay is not an ePod screen instruction or confirmation of smart-tariff billing. Phone changes may not reach an offline unit.
If that did not work
If it remains offline or repeatedly disconnects, ask Ohme to check connectivity and firmware. Use the installer for a supply problem. If it returns online but charging still misses slots, use the smart-charging guide and confirm actual energy before relying on the next night.
What to note down for support: The charger model, status/light pattern, times and restart result help Ohme; send serial/account details privately.
