DOLPHIN SURF pressure washing: areas to protect
Wash DOLPHIN SURF with gentle water, a neutral vehicle-cleaning product and a soft cloth. The handbook specifically excludes direct pressure jets on cameras and wiper blades, so clean those gently by hand.
- Finish and disconnect charging normally with dry hands, then close the inlet covers and flap.
- Close doors, windows and tailgate and turn automatic wiping off.
- Let the car cool in shade and check for loose trim or damaged seals.
- Loosen dirt with water, use the neutral cleaning product as directed, then rinse. Safety note: Concentrated water can damage camera seals, blades or electrical openings. Keep jets off cameras, wipers and the charging inlet; suspected water entry needs inspection before reconnecting charging.
- Dry gently with a clean soft cloth and check visibility before moving.

If that did not work
For persistent warnings, cabin water entry or suspected charging-inlet water damage, stop using the affected equipment and ask BYD to inspect it. Give the message and area washed.
