ATTO 3 warning lights: safe first checks
For a warning on your original ATTO 3, read the full message and follow the matching handbook entry. A blocked-camera, tyre-pressure or open-door message often gives you a specific first check; several lights together need the actual wording rather than a guessed reset.

- Park before reading the handbook or using a phone.
- Match the symbol and complete message to your car’s edition.
- For a camera-obstructed message, clear accessible mist, frost or dirt using the normal cleaning method. Safety note: Smoke, unusual heat, changed braking or steering, loss of power, or a stop-driving/high-voltage warning calls for a safe stop and assistance. Keep clear of damaged electrical parts; a vehicle fault needs its own check rather than a screen restart.
- For a tyre-pressure message, measure the tyres cold against the car’s pressure label.
- For an open closure or connected-charge-cable message, correct that stated condition normally.
- Check whether the original message clears; keep an unresolved or returning warning for the support branch below.
Colour alone can mislead
A normal status indication and a fault can use similar colours. Read the wording and symbol together; a parking-brake indication, for example, is not the same report as a braking-system fault.
Why repeated resets do not help
A temporary message may disappear after normal shutdown. If it returns, the pattern and stored fault history are more useful to the repairer than repeated attempts to erase it.
If that did not work
If there is no clear owner action, the warning persists or it changes how the car behaves, ask BYD to check the fault history for that message. A stop-driving instruction or loss of safe control needs roadside help.
What to note down for support: For an unresolved fault, one photo of the whole warning display, battery level and what happened immediately beforehand is usually enough to start the support call.
