How to find software version information on your BYD ATTO 3 EVO
While parked, open Application centre (four-square icon) → System → Version update on the ATTO 3 EVO interface covered here. Read the full software identifier and its label if shown; you do not need to start an upgrade to check a number.

- Park and let any active update finish.
- Open Application centre (four-square icon) → System → Version update. Safety note: Checking a version is a parked screen task. Wait until any installation has finished, and leave Upgrade or Factory Reset alone unless you intend to follow their separate procedures.
- Read each displayed software identifier together with its label, including letters, punctuation and build digits.
- Use the matching model’s update library to compare the full identifier and release scope.
Which version am I looking at?
Phone-app, navigation-map and vehicle-software identifiers are separate. A public OTA release name may use a different format from the installed build, and individual cars receive releases in batches.
If you only see an installation offer
Use the version information already displayed. If the identifier you need is absent, ask BYD to identify it for your screen rather than starting an installation to look for it.
If that did not work
If the menus differ, compare your supplied ATTO 3 EVO handbook and ask BYD for the version-information screen for that software. Give the model, screen label, complete identifier if shown, symptom and whether an update is offered.
