OWNER ANSWER
ATTO 2 Digital Key or NFC card not working
For a failed ATTO 2 NFC card or phone key, first check whether the physical fob still works. Then present the authorised card or device on its own at the car’s marked reader; metal cases and other cards can interfere.

- Keep the working physical fob available.
- Identify the method: NFC card, wallet NFC key or BYD app Bluetooth key. Safety note: Keep one working key until the alternative is reliable. Deleting all keys or resetting the car can remove your access; an active wireless charging pad can damage a key card.
- Remove a card from a wallet containing other contactless cards and hold it close to the marked mirror reader.
- For a phone/watch, confirm vehicle and device support and completed activation.
- Check the Digital Key tile and correct bound car in the official BYD app.
- For a supported Bluetooth key, use the phone’s Bluetooth connection and current app; for NFC, use the device’s actual NFC antenna at the mark.
Where to start
Use the marks and equipment in the ATTO 2 handbook. An NFC-capable phone or a working remote app does not by itself mean the vehicle/device supports Digital Key.
Lost or damaged card
Ask BYD to block a lost card and arrange replacement. Keep cards away from bending, hard objects, high heat and an active wireless charging pad.
If that did not work
If the fob works but the registered card or activated phone repeatedly fails, ask BYD to check that reader, key registration and exact device eligibility. If no authorised key works, use assistance.
What to note down for support: Give the failed method, exact message and phone/wallet/app/car versions when relevant. Keep activation codes private.
