ATTO 2 app not connecting after a software update

If the ATTO 2 app stops refreshing after an update, check your phone’s internet and reopen the BYD app first. Once installation has finished, start the car normally and let its connected services reconnect before trying again.

  1. Confirm the phone can open a normal website.
  2. Close and reopen the current official BYD app.
  3. Check the account, region and selected vehicle.
  4. After confirmed update completion, unlock and start the car normally.
  5. Once safely parked, allow connected services to initialise and refresh the app.

If that did not work

If the car is missing, ask the dealer to check owner binding and cloud activation. If it remains listed but remote commands fail, give BYD the exact error and ask it to check the vehicle connection after the update.

What to note down for support: The app/phone versions, complete vehicle software version and last successful refresh help support narrow this down.
