Public browsing
The planned public platform does not need advertising-profile or cross-site tracking cookies. Aggregate measurement should count useful events without building an individual visitor history.
My Garage storage
My Garage uses browser local storage for the model, optional nickname, mileage, registration month, software version and reminders you choose to save. Those values remain on that browser and are not submitted to MyBYD. You can delete them from My Garage or by clearing browser data.
Secure administration
Signed session and anti-forgery cookies are required when an authorised administrator signs in. They are restricted to the site, expire automatically and are not advertising cookies.
Your controls
You can use the public information without creating a Garage. Browser privacy controls can remove local storage, although doing so also removes the local Garage and reminders.
