Try the supported route first
- Park safely and keep the vehicle stationary.
- Use a trusted USB drive containing one ordinary JPG or JPEG image with a simple filename.
- Open the vehicle’s built-in file manager, if present, and copy the image into the normal local Pictures folder.
- Open the copied image and tap it once to reveal the available image controls.
- Choose Set as wallpaper only if that command is visibly offered by the installed software.
- Return to the home screen and check the crop and legibility.
If “Set as wallpaper” is missing
Stop at that boundary. It does not prove the screen or USB drive is faulty. The function may be absent, removed, restricted or different on that software build. Check the complete installed version and ask the retailer or BYD support whether the function is supported for that exact vehicle.

- Do not enable developer mode or install an unknown package to force the feature.
