ATTO 3 EVO charge-port door frozen or difficult to open

Do not force the flap. Unlock the ATTO 3 EVO and distinguish visible ice from a locking or alignment problem before applying more pressure.

Safe cold-weather sequence

1. Confirm that the vehicle is unlocked and not actively charging.
2. Stop pressing the flap if it is frozen, misaligned or resisting normal hand pressure.
3. Brush away loose snow and inspect the perimeter for clear ice, grit or a trapped charging-cap tether.
4. Warm the area gradually in a sheltered location or with gentle cabin pre-conditioning. Keep boiling water, flame and concentrated high heat away.
5. Dry the flap edge, unlock the vehicle again and try the normal opening action once.
6. After it opens, inspect the hinge, latch and seal without touching the charging contacts.

If ice is not the cause

• It clicks but remains shut: stop repeated attempts and record the sound.
• It sits unevenly: do not pry it open or force it closed.
• The vehicle will not unlock: check the authorised key and possible low-voltage symptoms separately.
• The inlet is wet, iced or damaged: do not connect charging equipment.

Do not use tools, unapproved de-icer, compressed air or another model’s hidden-release procedure. A damaged latch, seal, hinge or inlet needs qualified attention.
