A sealant kit is temporary. It cannot make sidewall damage, a split tyre, damaged wheel or unsafe roadside location suitable for driving.

Stop and make the scene safe

  1. Slow smoothly, avoid sudden steering or braking and stop away from traffic where possible.
  2. Switch on the hazard lights and keep occupants away from moving traffic.
  3. Use roadside assistance when working beside the car would be unsafe.
  4. Inspect from a safe position only. Do not remove an embedded object or crawl beneath the vehicle.

Before using the supplied kit

  1. Read the current ATTO 2 manual and the expiry date and instructions printed on the sealant.
  2. Do not use it for sidewall or shoulder damage, a tyre displaced from the rim, a cracked or bent wheel, multiple damaged tyres or damage outside the stated limits.
  3. If use is permitted, follow the exact inflation, pressure-recheck, speed and distance limits.
  4. Arrange prompt professional inspection and tell the technician that sealant was used.

Stop again when

Pressure falls, vibration starts, handling changes or the warning returns. Give roadside assistance the model, tyre size, location, displayed warning and whether sealant was used. Do not substitute another BYD model’s compressor sequence.
