How to update your ATTO 2
- Park safely, select P and leave enough time for the car to remain unavailable.
- Read the complete update notice on the ATTO 2 centre display. Confirm its battery, network and locking requirements before starting.
- If the vehicle offers scheduling, choose a time when you will not need the car. Otherwise start only from the update notice and follow every instruction shown.
- Take the key and phone with you, close the doors and do not use the vehicle, charge it, disconnect its 12V supply or interrupt installation unless the display specifically instructs you.
- When it finishes, record the full version shown by the vehicle and test connectivity and changed controls while parked.
ATTO 2 only: Menu wording can change with software. The vehicle notification is authoritative; do not use an ATTO 3 or another model’s screenshots as an exact path.
If no update appears
OTA releases can be issued in stages. Confirm the vehicle has a reliable data connection, record the complete installed version and VIN privately, then use the BYD app support route or an authorised BYD repairer if an expected update remains unavailable.
